The 34-year-old Stafford man was stopped early on Saturday night after the agency received multiple drunk driving complaints involving a swerving Honda Civic that came dangerously close to striking several other vehicles.
Those calls came shortly after the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office issued a BOLO for the same Honda that was driving dangerously in the area.
Deputies from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office were able to locate the Civic heading eastbound on Garrisonville Road still swerving and driving approximately 15 mph in a 40 mph zone, prompting a traffic stop.
According to deputies, they immediately noticed "strong signs of intoxication," the driver admitted to consuming four Coronas, and in plain view, there was a nearly empty bottle of booze.
Two more bottles were found inside the vehicle, and further investigation found that Guillen had three previous DUI convictions - two of which were in Stafford County - and a revoked license as a result.
Guillen was charged with:
- Driving under the influence fourth offense within ten years with a blood alcohol content above .20 percent;
- Driving while revoked;
- Third offense felony driving after forfeiture of his license.
He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $10,000 secured bond.
